Green was selected by both the Utah Stars in the 1975 ABA Draft and by the Chicago Bulls with the 12th pick of the second round in the 1975 NBA Draft. In 1975-76 he played with the Utah Stars and Spirits of St. Louis, with combined averages of 9.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. His NBA career consisted of three seasons with the Indiana Pacers from 1976 to 1979. On the right front tail of this extremely rare St. Louis Spirits jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer’s size 42 tag with wash instructions. Attached is a flag tag with “3” LONGER.” Across the front is "SPIRITS ST.LOUIS" in orange on black tackle twill. On the front and back is the player number "42" in orange on black tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "GREEN" in orange on black tackle twill. There was a name and number change done by the team. In the back inside waistband of the shorts is the "Rawlings" manufacturer’s size 34 tag with wash instructions. The uniform shows good game-use and besides the name and number change appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
