Gary “The Glove” Payton was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. One of the best point guards of all time, Payton is the only point guard to win a Defensive Player of the Year Award and made nine All-NBA Teams. On the front left tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with size “44” and wash instructions with flag tag “+2 LENGTH”. Adjacent to the left is another “Champion” tag reading “DESIGNED & TAILORED BY Champion EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE SEATTLE SONICS” with flag tag “1999-2000”. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag. On the right chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered in red, white and blue. Across the front reads “SONICS” in white on yellow tackle twill with a gold and green embroidered basketball above the “I”. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “20”. Across the back is the player name “PAYTON”. All are done in white on yellow on green tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
