On the front right tail is a “Rawlings” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions with an attached flag tag that reads, “SET 1 #8P 1975”. On the inside below the rear collar is a strip tag with, “42 75 24” embroidered on it. Across the chest reads, “Mets”. Coach number “24” appears on the front and on the back. All numbering and lettering are done in the same blue on orange tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the left sleeve is a “Mets” team logo disc patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn by Mays and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
