Known to his team mates simply as “Cap”, Donnie Baseball was the face of the NY Yankees for the better part of the mid to late 1980s. He played his entire fourteen year career with the Bronx Bombers winning the 1985 AL MVP. Donnie was selected to six All-Star games and won nine Gold Gloves. His number “23” is retired in Monument Park at Yankee Stadium. On the inner band is the “New Era” manufacturers tag. Adjacent are the “Authentic Diamond Collection” tag and the size “7-1/4” tag. Player number “23”is written under the bill in black marker. Navy blue cap with team interlocking “NY” on top embroidered in white. The cap shows nice game-use with sweat staining on the inner band and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
