Jim Rice finally made it to Cooperstown this year after a long and undeserved wait. He was one of the most feared hitters of his generation, knocking in 30 and 100 when those numbers meant something and were respected. Rice will always be considered one of the greatest right handed hitters in Red Sox history. On the front left tail is the "RAWLINGS" manufacturers size 48 tag with wash instructions. Attached is a "SET 1 1988" flag tag and embroidered “T” strip tag. Across the front is "BOSTON." On the back is the player number "14." All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the "RAWLINGS" embroidered logo. Autographed on back in blue marker and rates a 7. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA. A MEARS LOA will be provided.
