They formed the greatest back-to-back hitters in MLB history and were the heart of "Murderers' Row." After being crowned World Champions for the second straight year, Yankee greats Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig headed an "All-Star" team to play the Kellogg-Postum All-Stars on October 27th, 1928. This 6-1/4" x 9-3/8" Official Score Book features a picture on the cover of Ruth and Gehrig donning their perspective uniforms: "Bustin' Babes" and "Larrupin' Lous." Besides the box scores for the game, the program contains a full-figure photo of each of the two stars. The score book has yellowed, but is in otherwise excellent condition.
Oct 27, 1928 "Bustin Babes" and "Larrupin Lous" Score Book (very rare)
