New York Yankees icons Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, and Whitey Ford have all added their signatures to this Rawlings OAL MacPhail baseball. Mantle’s blue ink autograph appears on the sweet spot and rates an 8-9. Ford’s blue ink autograph on the top panel rates an 8-9. Home run king Maris autographed the ball in black ballpoint on the panel to the left of Mantle’s autograph, a perfect location that allows Mantle and Maris to be displayed together. The Maris signature rates a 6-7. The ball itself is near mint and bright white with just a small amount of toning on the bottom panel, away from all of the signatures. This ball was originally one of two Mantle/Maris/Ford balls auctioned from Whitey Ford’s personal collection and comes with a LOA personally signed by Whitey Ford in blue ink.
