Richard Nixon served during one of the most difficult times in our nation's history. Political scandal, youth rebellion, race riots and the Vietnam War divided the country and defined Nixon's presidency, which he resigned in 1974. Later in life Nixon became an elder statesman and the nation granted him reprieve for his transgressions while in office. The "Rawlings" baseball is an "Official American League Ball." The autograph on the ball has been done in blue ink and rates a 10. The two photographs are identical except for their size -- one measures 8" x 10", the other 11" x 14." The photos show Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, George Bush Sr., Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter in the Oval Office. The smaller photo has been signed in blue marker and rates a 9, the larger picture has been signed in black marker and rates an 8. The lot comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
