In September of 1964 the S.S. Minnow set sail on a three hour tour. Yes, a three hour tour. The ship's captain, his first mate, an actress, a professor, a farm girl, a millionaire, and his wife were all stranded on an uncharted tropical island. Gilligan's Island was one of the most popular, and most referenced sitcoms in history. Offered here is a real coconut, that was converted into a decorative monkey. The monkey is hand carved with full facial features, including wire frame glasses. This original prop from the series, which lasted from 1964 to 1967, comes with a letter of authenticity from the Great American Prop & Wardrobe Company.
