Movie poster from the Italian release of the film "Can-Can," starring Frank Sinatra and Shirley MacLaine. Based on the Cole Porter musical, the movie also stars famous French actors Maurice Chevalier and Louis Jourdan. The poster features great pale blue images -- you can see that the artist tried to emulate the great French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, who produced the original "Can-Can" posters of the Moulin Rouge in turn-of-the-century Paris. This linen-backed poster measures 39" x 55" and is in overall VF condition.
