Although Tommy McDonald was relatively small for a college running back, he managed to rush his way to the Maxwell Award in 1956 for the nation's most outstanding player. During his three years of varsity competition at Oklahoma, the Sooners never lost a game, captured two national championships, and went to the Orange Bowl. Inside this "Riddell Suspension Helmet" is the size "6 5/8." The helmet shows good game-use and comes with a letter from the grandson of the Philadelphia Eagles equipment manager who held the position during Tommy McDonald's tenure with the Eagles, as well as an additional COA.
