Dan Marino was one of the purest throwing quarterbacks ever in the NFL. Inside the neck on this jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "50." Below the manufacturer's tag is a white tackle twill patch with "93" stitched in green. The number "13" is screened on the front, back, and on both sleeves of the jersey in green, white and orange. Both sleeves have screened on "Miami Dolphins" team logos. The right sleeve has been custom cut and has a small rectangular "J.R." patch. A white mesh nameplate on the back has the tri-colored name "Marino" screened on in a green on white on orange color scheme. This nameplate was used in the Dolphins August 7th 1993 exhibition game against the Atlanta Falcons. Immediately following the game the NFL Commissioner banned the tri-colored lettering because it proved to be illegible on TV, making this a rare Marino jersey. There is an autograph on the back of the jersey. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind except for the custom cut sleeve. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
