After turning down a professional basketball contract in 1961, Hubert "Geese" Ausbie found much success and happiness with the Globetrotters for 24 years and retired in 1985. Ausbie finished his college career ranked third in scoring behind such greats as Elgin Baylor and Oscar Robertson. On the front of the jersey is the city name "Harlem" in red on white tackle twill, the number "35" in white on red tackle twill, and the team name "Globetrotters" in yellow tackle twill. The name "Ausbie" in red on white and the number "35" in white on red tackle twill are on the rear. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "44." A blue tackle twill patch with the number "2" is below the Wilson tag. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
