Jockey Jerry Bailey won the Belmont Stakes with horse, "Empire Maker", on June 7, 2003, beating out the favored "Funny Cide." This black, size 7, Champion Deluxe jockey helmet has Bailey's initials "J.D.B." painted on the back. The helmet is covered with a bright white spandex stretch cover, which has his name "Bailey" embroidered in black along the back. The helmet is in excellent condition and shows some signs of use.
