Considered by many to be the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time, the "Brown Bomber" Joe Louis successfully defended his title more times than any other heavyweight in history. He also wore the belt longer than anyone -- 11 years and eight months. He retired with a record of 63-3 with 49 KOs. This is an original 11" x 14' lobby card from the 1953 United Artists film, "The Joe Louis Story," signed in black ballpoint by Joe Louis in the lower right corner over the credits. It has been regally framed and double matted. Comes with a letter from PSA/DNA. Interestingly, the actor who played Joe Louis in this movie, Coley Wallace, also played the same role 27 years later in the 1980 blockbuster, "Raging Bull."
