Pop the bubbly. To celebrate their 1988 World Series victory, the L. A. Dodgers were given bottles of Piper Sonoma Brut, as well as Taittinger Brut Champagne. Offered here are two unopened bottles obtained directly from the Dodgers team. On the 1985 Piper Sonoma bottle, straight from the Dodgers locker room, the equipment manager had the following inscription added, "L.A. Dodgers World Championship Dodgers-5 A's-2 Oct. 20, 1988." The Taittinger bottle given out to the Dodgers executives has a sticker reading, "Commemorating the Dodgers 1988 World Championship." Also included is a bottle of 1982 Piper Sonoma Brut taken from the Dodgers locker room after the 1985 Western Division championship game. The bottle has been partially opened and has the inscription "L.A. Dodgers Western Div. Champs Dodgers - 9 Braves - 3 Oct - 2 - 1985."
