With a record of 95-58, the 1925 Pittsburgh Pirates finished first in the National League, going on to beat the Washington Senators in a very tight seven-game World Series. Subsequent to their Championship season, they were invited to Hollywood and toured the Paramount lot and sets. This is an incredible one-of-a-kind 19-1/2" x 12" framed panoramic photo from 1925 of the World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates on a set on the Paramount lot. Posing with them and engaging in a mock tug-of-war with one of the Pirates are legendary actor Douglas Fairbanks and his wife, Mary Pickford. Written on the bottom of the photo is "Doug And Mary Entertain Pittsburgh Pirates." Pictured in this amazing photo are HOFers Pie Traynor, Max Carey, Kiki Cuyler and the rest of the Pirates team.
