The 1982-83 Philadelphia 76ers are considered among the very best basketball teams ever assembled and at the very heart of the club was Julius Erving. Offered here is a salesman's sample ring that is identical to the one that Dr. J received for his participation in the championship game. The top reads "N.B.A. World Champions" surrounding a CZ diamond set in synthetic ruby. On the left shank is the player name "Erving" above an engraved Liberty Bell with the teams "76ers" logo, season record of "65-17", and inspirational "Persevere" mantra. On the right shank is the year "1983", "NBA" logo and the word "Defense." The ring is size 10.5, in excellent to near-mint condition, and has "LGB GTC SA 1155 BLB" engraved on the inside band.
