The Big Red Machine rolled through the 1976 postseason needing only four games to defeat the New York Yankees and take home their second consecutive World Championship. Each of the six umpires who worked the series was presented with a beautiful ring, and this example was given to William Deegan (mis-identified as William Demoro in our print catalog). In the center of the top face is a .50 carat diamond surrounded by a baseball field and the words "1976 World Series Umpire." On the left shank is "New York Yankees" with a pair of crossed bats and a baseball glove. On the right shank is the other team name "Cincinnati Reds" with an umpire. The ring is size 11.5, is in excellent to near-mint condition showing the most minimal of wear, and is stamped "14K" on the inside band. It is accompanied by supporting documentation.
