With a salary that seems to increase by at least $2 million every year, the Montreal Expos know they need to do everything they can to hold on to Vladimir Guerrero. Offered in this lot are three actual homerun balls hit by Guerrero himself, with documentation that dates back to each game. The first ball is from the July 12, 2000 game against the Atlanta Braves, and was pitched by Greg Maddux. The second ball is from the July 17, 2002 game against the New York Mets; that ball was thrown by Jeff Diamico. The last ball was offered up by Matt Morris in an August 9th, 2001 game against the St. Louis Cardinals. This ball is also signed by Guerrero, who added his number "27." The signature rates an 8, and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA. Also included in the lot is a game-used New Era Expos hat, size 7-1/8", worn by Guerrero, with his number "27" written on the inside in marker. The hat shows evidence of good game use.
