Tony C was a hometown hero in Boston playing with the team through six injury plagued seasons. This bat dates to the heart of his career and shows tremendous game-use with a handle crack that includes an 8" section of wood missing. The barrel is covered in ball hit and transfer marks and green and red rack marks are present. The player number "25" appears on the handle in black marker below the original production weight of the bat "32." A heavy coat of pine tar has been applied and a black marker ring is drawn on the upper handle. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: S180, Labeling Period: 1965-67. Length: 36, Weight: 31 ounces, Wood: Ash , Finish: Flame Burned. The bat comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
