The epitome of raw power, Harmon Killebrew retired from baseball with 573 home runs to his name, good enough for fifth on the all-time list and second only to Babe Ruth in the American League. This professional model Killebrew bat is model number D2, a favorite of "Killer" and his weapon of choice for much of the early part of his career. This model does not appear on his ordering records for the referenced labeling period, however, there are known to be gaps in them and they are not believed to be 100% complete. The initials "S.F." have been carved into the front of the barrel. The bat shows outstanding use with ball marks visible on all sides of the barrel. A small piece of the knob is missing and a severe handle crack has been repaired with a series of nails. Killebrew has signed the barrel in bold blue Sharpie rating a 9. The bat was originally sourced from ex-player Tom Morgan. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: D2, Labeling Period: 1965-68, Length: 35, Weight: 32 ounces, Wood: Ash, Finish: Standard. The bat and autograph each come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
