The all-time hit leader with 4,256, Pete Rose had more than 1,000 hits after the age of 38. Rose had a short stay in Montreal before being traded back to the Reds in '84, where he responded by hitting .365 the rest of the season. Inside the neck is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's label with wash instructions and size "44." Inside the left front tail is a blue label reading "14 84" in red chain stitch denoting player number and year, respectively. On the left breast is the "Expos" team logo in red, white, and blue. Below this is the team name "Expos." On the right breast is the player number "14." On the back of the jersey is the player name "Rose" and centered below it is the player number "14." All of these letters and numbers are done in red tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
