HOFer George Brett was a superstar playing in an era of free agency, yet he played his entire career in Kansas City. Brett was a 13-time All-Star, 1980 MVP and the last player to make a serious run at batting .400 in a season, proving his loyalty was only surpassed by his skill. Inside the left front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's label with wash instructions and jersey size "44." Adjacent is a blue label "T" indicating "Tall." Attached to this is a white flag tag reading "Set 1 1988." Below this is a white label reading "2 Inch Extra Length." Across the front of the jersey in script-style lettering is the team name "Royals." Below this is the player number "5." On the back is the player name "Brett" and centered below it is the number "5." All letters and numbers are done in white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "KC Royals" embroidered team logo patch. On the right sleeve in white is the "Rawlings" logo. There is an autograph on the back. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Also comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
