The Rocket played for Boston from 1984 to 1996. This game-used cotton undershirt, white with dark blue sleeves has been cut at the bottom and on both sleeves. The number 21 is written in marker on the left side of the chest, and "Rocket" is written underneath the neck on the back. The valuables bag with a locking zipper is red and stitched in blue it says "Boston Red Sox," and underneath that, "21.Rocket.21." Before the bag was given to Clemens it appears to have been the property of #45 John Doherty, who pitched three games for the Red Sox in 1996. These items were obtained directly from the former Red Sox equipment manager.
