A seven-time All-Star and a superb center fielder, Dom Dimaggio was a consistent hitter who once had a 34-game hitting streak. Inside the neck is the "Tim McAuliffe Inc" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "44." The name "DiMaggio" is below the manufacturer's tag on a tackle twill patch. The number "7" is on the rear and has been restored. The name on the front was removed when the jersey was sent down to the minors. The name has since been restored and reads, "Red Sox." All letters and numbers are done in red on navy blue felt. The tail of the jersey has been custom cut and hemmed. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations other than the above mentioned changes.
