Jorge Posada had tough shoes to fill when he took over full-time catching duties for the New York Yankees He has since blossomed into a cornerstone of the team's recent dynasty. Pictured here is fine spread of his game-used garb. The chest protector was manufactured by Rawlings and has their embroidered "R" logo on the front. Also sewn into the material is the player name "J.Posada." The shin guards were also manufactured by Rawlings and are of the knee to ankle variety, in familiar blue plastic that Jorge is always seen wearing. Each has a "Care Instruction" flag tag on the inside. All pieces show heavy use.
