Switch-hitter Roy White spent his entire 15 year Major League career playing for the Yankees. In 1975, he fielded 1.000, making him the first Yankee ever to play an errorless season. In the neck of the jersey there is a navy blue stitched tag reading "White 72 42" indicating the player's last name, year, and jersey size, respectively. Below this is a name "N. Palmer" handwritten twice in marker. Palmer is most likely the player who wore the jersey when it was sent to the minors. The left front tail of the jersey features the "Wilson" manufacturers tag with a jersey size of "42." Across the front of the jersey is the name "New York" done in felt lettering. The number "6" is on the back of the jersey and was also done in felt. The jersey front has been restored. Below the team name on the left side of the front there is an autograph with the #6 added in blue marker. The signature rates a strong 9 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
