The most dominant center since Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O'Neal has changed the meaning of size and strength in the NBA. At 7'1" and close to 400 pounds, O'Neal has become an unstoppable force down low. On the left front tail of this 1996-97 home mesh Lakers jersey is the "Champion" exclusive label with the year "96 97" and "Body Length +6." Next to this is the "Champion" label with the size "56." On the inside lower left is the "6" Extra Body Length" label. Across the front is the name "Lakers" and on the back is the name 'O'Neal." The player number "34" appears on both the front and back of the shirt. All the letters and numbers are made of purple on white tackle twill. On the upper left front is the gold "NBA" patch. The jersey shows good game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
