Orville Wright and his brother Wilbur are credited with the invention of the first "flying machine" capable of human transport. This 3" x 8" check, issued by The Winters National Bank & Trust Co., has been dated and stamped "Dec 13, 1940." "PAID 12 13 40 56-30" has been punched into the check, and "The sum of $61 and 33 cts" has been stamped in red. This check, #2533, has been made out to "Mabel Beck" for a sum of "$61.33." It has been signed "Orville Wright" in black ink, his signature rating a near 10. Wright's autograph comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. The check has been matted with a 5.5" x 6.5" photograph of Wright, and the 2 have been framed to a final size of 15" x 18".
