Born April 24, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, Barbra Streisand began her professional singing career in the early 1960s and has gone on to become the most successful female recording artist of all time. In total she has released 54 albums and has even tried her hand at other ventures including directing and acting in several movies. Her signature, as with most modern superstars, is not an easy one to come by and the example offered here has undisputable authenticity. The personal check, dated Oct. 21, 1987 has been fully executed in her hand and signed in black ink rating a near-perfect 10. The "memo" portion of the check has been filled in indicating that it was used to purchase a waste basket by renowned designer Stickley for $600!
