The 50 original wire photographs offered here are each in some way related to baseball. There are a few with Major League subjects, including a beautiful head shot of Hall of Famer Jim Bottomley, and others with either minor league or college baseball themes. They are from a variety of sources including Acme, Underwood & Underwood, and the N.E.A. Reference Department. Many have production markings on the front and most are stamped on the reverse and have original captions still attatched. There is something very striking about vintage photography and the selection contained herein is no exception.
