Considered by many to be one of the finest of the old time players not yet inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame, Gil Hodges played to the delight of Brooklyn and L.A. Dodgers fans before a short stint as a manager with the fledgling New York Mets. He is pictured here in uniform and has signed the image "To Tom, Best Wishes, Gil Hodges" in black ink. The signature rates a 10 and originates from the now famous Tom Eakin collection. The picture appears to have been removed from a publication of some sort and is not on photographic paper. Double matted in Dodger blue and framed to an overall size of 14.5" x 16.5". The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
