Before pitching in the hitters' haven of Coors Field, Mike Hampton had established himself as one of the premier pitchers in baseball. He pitched in the World Series with the Mets winning two games as the MVP of the 2000 NLCS to get the Mets into the series. This home knit jersey was worn during the latter part of the 2001 season. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label and below is the size tag, "46." Next to this is a label reading "Hampton 46-10." The numbers denote the size and player number, respectively. On the left breast is the "CR" logo in silver on black tackle twill and on the back of the shirt is the name "Hampton." Below this is the player number "10." The name and number are made of black on silver tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is a 9/11/01 American flag patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It comes with a team letter.
