In 1988, Mike Scott had one of the best years of his pitching career, winning 14 games with a 2.92 ERA. On the inside left front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with the size "44." Adjacent to this are the "Set 1 1988" flag tag and "2 Inch Extra Length" tag. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Astros" and below this is their "star" logo. On the back is the player number "33." The team name, logo, and player number are all done in blue on white tackle twill. Also on the back is a nameplate reading "Scott" in blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
