Torii Hunter had the definition of a breakout year in 2002. The center fielder won his second consecutive Gold Glove and finished sixth in American League MVP voting. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" label and below this is the size tag, "50." Next to this is the year tag "2001." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Twins" in red on blue tackle twill and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Hunter" in blue tackle twill. The player number "48" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the jersey. The numbers are made of red on blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the "American League" centennial patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
