This Ballantine pewter mug engraved "Elston Howard" with three interlocked engraved rings was presented to Howard and is approximately five inches high and four inches in diameter with a clear glass bottom. It is in very good to excellent condition. Also included in this lot is a tray presented to Howard by the Yankees in 1973. The tray, which is slightly over 12 inches in diameter, is silver on the outside with a faux wood panel background on the inside. Printed in raised silver on the wood paneling is the Yankees logo on top and a "50th Anniversary Yankee Stadium" logo on the bottom with "Christmas 1973" between the two logos. The tray is in very good to excellent condition due to some tarnishing, the worst of which is on the bottom of the tray and almost none of which is on the wood paneling or the logos. The mug and tray come with a letter of authenticity from Howard's wife Arlene.
