New York Giants fans are certainly tough to please and a lot of them were not jumping for joy when Big Blue selected Phil Simms out of little known Moorehead State in Kentucky in 1979. The small town blonde kid from the small town school eventually won those fans over, guiding the Giants to two Super Bowl championships during his 14 years with the team. This helmet was worn by Simms during his heyday with the Giants and shows nice game-use. Simms' #11 can be found on stickers on the back and below the left ear, to the right of where "C-8899" is written in black marker. A Schutt logo is situated on the reverse of the helmet, which features "Giants" written on either side and a red stripe down the center. The helmet comes with a LOA from Lou Lampson.
