Much rarer and more in-depth than a fight program, this Feb. 25, 1964 press packet for the inaugural Cassius Clay vs. Sonny Liston fight features a wealth of information pertaining to each fighter. Included are two b&w 8" x 10" photos of each boxer, 18 press release-type write ups put out by Theatre Network Television, Inc. (TNT), which broadcast the fight, and two-cushion cutouts from which molds were made for use by exhibitors. Ali and Liston are featured in boxing poses on the cover of the packet, which has a small tear at the center of the right border. Although the folder is in very good condition, it retains great eye appeal while the contents are in excellent to near mint condition.
