Few people who saw "Brian's Song" will ever forget just how the movie was so moving. How could you? It transcended sports and touched its viewers on a personal level. NFL Hall-of-Famer and artist Tommy McDonald wonderfully depicts the inspirations for the film, Chicago Bears running backs Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers, in this original oil painting. McDonald presented the painting to Sayers shortly after Piccolo's tragic death. Handsomely framed and matted, the piece measures 24" x 20" in its entirety and is accompanied by a typed letter from Sayers to a previous owner, signed "Gale" in blue ink. Signed "T. McDonald" in the lower left corner.
