Pennants have been sold at baseball stadiums for as long as ball has been played. these 16 vintage pennants represent 16 of baseball's original teams. Each pennant has the team name and most have an additional graphic on the left hand side. The graphic will be described in parenthesis ( ) next to the team name. Included are: Philadelphia Phillies (man sliding into home with the words "fightin Phillies"), Boston Braves (detailed Indian head), Brooklyn Dodgers (clown/bum), New York Giants (Giants fan with megaphone), St. Louis Cardinals (cardinal), Chicago Cubs (bear), Cincinnati (Red stockings mascot), Pittsburgh Pirates (Pirate), Boston Red Sox (Fenway Park), New York Yankees (Yankee Stadium with Uncle Sam), Washington Senators (Capital building, ballplayer), Athletics (Philadelphia A's elephant), Chicago White Sox (sock logo with 6 ball players), Cleveland (indian head), Browns (St. Louis, Browns logo), Detroit Tigers (Briggs Stadium, tiger). The pennants are in very good to excellent condition with a few better and a few worse.
