Before the home run became the 'in' thing in baseball, the game was ruled by a gritty Detroit Tigers outfielder by the name of Ty Cobb. Cobb terrorized Major League pitchers for 24 years, batting .323 for Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics at the ripe old age of 41, and his .367 lifetime batting average will likely never be approached. This 22-3/4" x 24" wooden frame houses three Cobb photos. The highlight of this double-matted display piece is a Cobb cut signature which reads "My Kindest Regards - Ty Cobb." The signature and inscription both grade an 8 to 9. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
