This season, his first as a New York Yankee after coming over from the rival New York Mets, Robin Ventura re-discovered the sweet stroke that made him an all-star with the Chicago White Sox. Rockin' Robin topped the 20 home run mark for the ninth time in his career in 2002, placing him in the elite company of fellow slugging third basemen Mike Schmidt and Eddie Mathews, and is on pace to hit # 300 next season. This Rawlings glove features Ventura's name stitched to the right of the webbing on the outside, opposite of "Gold Glove Series." The glove is a PRO504-6 model with "Gold Glove" and "Heart of the Hide" etched in the pocket. It shows nice game use and has some oil remnants in the pocket. The glove comes with a certificate of authenticity.
