At the peak of his game, Jack Morris' ferocious competitive nature added an extra edge to his fastball, slider and excellent splitter, making quick and easy work of opposing batters. He was a consistent workhorse, notching double-digit wins in 14 of his 16 full seasons in the majors. He also helped anchor three different teams' victories in the World Series. On the inside left front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label with the size, "46" and adjacent to this is a gray patch with the letter "T" in blue embroidered stitch denoting custom tapering. Next to this is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1989." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Detroit" in blue on orange tackle twill and on the back is the name "Morris" in blue tackle twill. Below this is the player number "47" in blue on orange tackle twill. The back has been restored. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the restored back, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
