The Los Angeles Lakers showed no sign of being satisfied with back-to-back NBA titles, steam-rolling the New Jersey Nets in four games in the 2002 Finals to win their third consecutive championship. With the remarkable trio of Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Coach Phil Jackson, who knows when the Lakers' dominance will end? Bryant has proven to be vital to their success, earning a spot on the 2001-02 All-NBA First Team with 25.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg, and 5.5 apg. Michael Jordan's best days seem to be behind him, but at least we can find similar flashes of brilliance in Kobe's spectacular offense. This Bryant jersey is from the 2000 NBA Finals, the first championship series won by this incredible Lakers team. On the left front tail of the shirt is the "Los Angeles Lakers" label and next to this is the "Nike" label with the size "50." Adjacent to this is the "NBA Authentics" label. Below the Nike label is the "Length +4" label. On the inside lower left is the wash tag and under this is the year tag "1999-00." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Lakers" and on the back is the name "Bryant." The letters are made of gold on white tackle twill. The player number "8" appears on both the front and back of the jersey in white on gold tackle twill. On the upper left front is the "NBA" patch and above this is a black armband commemorating the death of Wilt Chamberlain. On the upper right front is the "NBA Finals" patch. We were told that this jersey was worn during the 2000 NBA Finals. On the back number is a silver paint pen autograph that rates a 9+. The jersey shows game use, including but not limited to pulls on the numbers and letters, and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It comes with two additional letters of authenticity. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
