Willie Stargell was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1988. During his 21-year career with the Pirates, Stargell batted .282 with 2,232 hits, 475 home runs and 1,540 RBI’s, helping his team capture two National League pennants and two World Series titles in 1971 and 1979. New Era pro model manufactured size “7 3-8” cap. The numerals “VIII” are handwritten underneath the brim in black marker. Affixed to the bill of the cap is the initial “S” embroidered in black on a yellow star. On the front is the Pirates “P” team logo in black. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows wear.
