Joe Ferguson authored the most spectacular play of the 1974 World Series, throwing out Sal Bando at home plate on a missile from right field in Game One and also hit a game-winning home run in Game Two. Inside the collar is the Goodman & Sons manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Tearing is present on the interior of the collar. On the front left tail is an all-important tag reading "Set B '74" in blue Swiss embroidery on a white satin swatch, which is a postseason indicator. This jersey was, in all probability worn in both the regular season and postseason, as it exhibits fantastic season-long wear. Across the chest reads “Dodgers” in script and across the back is the player name “FERGUSON”. Beneath the player name is the player number “13”. These all are done in blue tackle twill. The player number also appears on the front in red tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
