Ed Kunkel was the home plate umpire when Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew hit his 500th home run. Rawlings manufactured OAL MacPhail baseball signed by both Killebrew and Kunkel. Kunkel signed on the sweet spot in black marker and Killebrew signed on the north panel in blue ink with the added inscription “8/10/71" and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined near 9. Moderate to heavy toning is seen throughout however the signatures display well. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
