Left-handed pitcher Bill Lee’s outrageous personality on and off the field earned him the nickname “Spaceman”. On the inside collar is the Rawlings manufacturers tag size “42”. On the inside front left tail is a flag tag reading “SET 2 1979”. On the left chest reads “expos” in blue tackle twill, with the team’s “M” logo above in red, white and blue tackle twill. Player number “37” appears on the right chest in red tackle twill and on the back in blue tackle twill. Across the back reads player name “LEE”, which is also done in blue tackle. There is an outline of where a nameplate was added and later removed that reads “EXPOS”. This was used for the subsequent Spring Training and that nameplate accompanies this lot. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
