The first World Series Babe Ruth ever played in saw his Boston Red Sox defeat the Philadelphia Phillies in five games. This ticket stub is from game three of the series and the cost was “$3.00”. The stub once found a home in a photo album which explains the paper residue on the back. The stub originally was sourced from the family of fellow 1915 Red Sox World Champion and Ruth’s roommate Dick Hoblitzell.
